I deleted something by mistake

Open the Photos app, go to Albums → Recently Deleted and tap Recover. Items stay there for 30 days.

Distill only shows some of my photos

You have given access to selected photos only. Go to Settings → Apps → Distill → Photos and choose Full Access.

The scan is slow or stops

The first scan analyses every photo once and can take a few minutes for large libraries. Keep the app open, or on iOS 26 and later let it continue in the background. Progress is saved, so an interrupted scan picks up where it left off.

Where did my hidden screenshots go?

They are in the Hidden album in the Photos app, which is locked with Face ID or Touch ID.

Restore my purchase

Open Distill, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases. The purchase is shared with your Family Sharing group and works on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
